Fashion Friday: What I've Been Buying

With a change of season, comes a change in my wardrobe wants, therefore I feel the need to go shopping. Well I actually always feel the need to go shopping, but I feel a change in season justifies it.

I love wearing boots in A/W as I hate soggy feet, so I like to keep them wrapped up in my boots. Firstly I've got these shorter Primark ones, and then these longer ones from New Look. I always get a different variation of these each year.

I firstly got this top in blue, and loved it so much I also got it in white. I love how loose fitting it is, and how comfy it is too.

So apparently I only shop in Topshop now, I also got these two jumpers. You cant really see the detail in the first one, it is a lovely white knit, with rainbow coloured specks in it. The second one I have already blogged about here.

I first bought this snood from Topshop as I needed a pale/neutral coloured scarf. I then spotted this gorgeous Tartan H&M one earlier in the week, and it is looove.

Finally I thought I would show off my gorgeous cat slippers. I love things like this. They are keeping my feet warm as I type.

Also, the autumnal coloured lipstick I'm wearing is this one, here.

Have you been shopping for the new season?

Holiday Haul

For some reason, I am find the word 'haul' slightly cringey, but I have a love for alliteration which beat the cringey-ness. In short this post is about the things I bought whilst on holiday. Mainly 'cause I loved the background of these pictures.

Murad Essential - C Cleanser

I pursposely picked up Marie Clair to get this, as I forgot to pack an extra cleanser, oops! But I love this cleanser now, so much so that I think I may pick up another magazine! It smells lovely and citrusy and makes my face look fresh and bright.

Max Factor Eyebrow Pencil: Hazel (2)

I've been looking for a new eyebrow pencil as I find that alothough my Sleek Brow Kit makes my brows look fuller, it can have a slight orange tinge, and also make them slightly too dark, so I wanted a more natural colour, enter this. Is there anything else to say about an eyebrow pencil?

Rimmel Blush in Santa Rose

I've seen Tanya Burr talk about this a lot, and as I hadn't packed a blush, I decided to pick this up, and I really love it. It is very much a your cheek but better, which I like, as I do have a natural flush to my cheeks but this makes it look much more polished.  It is a lovely pinky peach colour, and just looks really natural and lovely!

Rimmel Gloss in Be Famous:

I got this on the last day of my holiday as I really wanted a coral lip colour, and so picked this up with my Boots Points and it's rather lovely, and suited the purpose I wanted it for.

Hope you're having a lovely day!

Fashion Friday: Currently Craving

I am always wanting something, and as I've been shopping quite a lot this week, I thought I would show you a few things that have really caught my eye.

First up this Mickey Mouse Jumper from River Island. I love Disney, I love claret, and I love jumpers, so this is my perfect combination. I think it will look great in Autumn.

The scarf from Dorothy Perkins is soo pretty, you can't see the picture, but it has lots of Parisian pictures on the bottom, and it looks so gorgeous. Plus, I love a good scarf.

This Topshop jumper is amazing, and I even tried it on, and fell more in love with it, but it costs £42 which is just too much at the moment. Hoping it will pop in the sale soon. I really love it.

I've always wanted some Converse, but I'm really liking these boat style navy shoes from River Island, and I think I would wear them more too.

And finally, I love this coat from Topshop. Not my usual style, but I think its so cute!

What are you lusting after at the moment?

P.S

I was recently contacted by a site called Mallzee, and was asked if I would mention them on my blog, and as I liked the idea, I thought I would give you a little insight too. It is basically a online shopping website (who doesn't like shopping?) which means you and friends can shop online together, whilst also getting paid to do so. Sounds good no? Here is what the press release says:

'Mallzee is all about making shopping social. Users create their own online mall (Mallzee) by  picking their favourite brands and stores. Our fancy technology then finds products suited to their tastes to showcase. Once they have built their Mallzee they are then able to invite their friends to shop with them, talk about products in chat, promote their Mallzee or brand choices on Facebook/Twitter and thanks to our group buying power receive some great discounts for their friends. This will apply to beauty products also.

Plus as an added bonus - the user who built the Mallzee gets paid whenever they or their friends buy anything via it. '

You can sign up now to be alerted when the the site goes live here:

Will you be signing up?

Happy Friday :)

*Not sponsored, I just really like the idea of Mallzee :)

Little MAC Splurge

When I first started my blog, I didn't own any high end make-up. Que a few months later, and what a surprise, my collection is slowly growing. Last week I went shopping again with Rachel, and we had another great time, I love that I've made real friends through blogging, so nice! Anyway, we went shopping and we went into MAC, and thought I'd share what I got!

I've made the desicion that I want to start my own MAC palette, which I know is expensive, but make-up, as sad as it sounds, is my hobby, so yup! I've started with the two colours Malt (the pinker colour) and Omega!

These are quite light swatches 'cause I didn't wanna waste the product haha.
Malt//Omega

I think together Omega is a great contour/crease shade to Malt, and they give a nice day time smokey eye.

I then got the famous MSF in Soft and Gentle, and I must say, I can see why people love it, (a better review to follow!)

And last, but by no means least, this Kohl liner in Powersurge. We saw this little guy as a tester the last time we went shopping, but unfortunately they were sold out. We were so desperate to get it too, and then Rachel noticed you could reserve and collect it from John Lewis, and she could use a 10% student discount and ended up ordering it for us! I am so happy I finally have it though! It is the most gorgeous bronzey golden colour!

So that is the end of my mini little haul type thing.

What eye shadows should I get next?
