2012 Favourites: Bloggers

For my final installments of favorites from the last year, I thought I'd end with the bloggers I've loved this year. I never thought I would be able to speak to so many like minded people, or create the friendships I have, so this post goes out to those people.

Rachel and Shen are two I have to put together, as they are the two I now class as truly good friends. Big loves x

And I also want to mention Sleep and Water, but can't get a picture, but seriously, you need to check this blog out :)

Hope you've met some amazing bloggers too. Obviously there are loads more I could add to this list, but you would be here till next year.

Laura xoxo

2012 Favourites: Make-up

This has to be one of the hardest posts I've written. I've really tried to just pick as little items as possible that have really shined for me during the last year. It's funny to think that this time last year I hardly owned a quarter of the make-up I do now, funny and scary. Anyway, here are my top picks.

For foundation, my stand out product had to be the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation. It gives good coverage and a lovely healthy glow.

Eyes had to be the Stila Natural Eyes Palette, it is just so versatile and money savvy.

Although I never bought into the Lip Butter hype, this one in Berry Smoothie was probably the most worn lip product of the year, so I had to include it.

The most expensive, but my favourite product of 2012 has to be my Dior Amber Diamond. It is just os gorgeous, and perfect and lovely.

I have made no secret of my love for the NARS Multiples, they are just brilliant. Out of the two I have South Beach just about wins, but honestly, I can see my collection growing bigger.

My all time bronze has to be Benefits Hoola. Just perfect for contouring and adding a healthy bronzed look to your face.

So that has been my make-up picks of the year. What have yours been?

2012 Favourites: Skincare

Skincare is something I've really gotten into this year. I'd always been a face wipe and cream cleanser kind of girl, now I love my little routines I have, and definitely think skincare can be more exciting than make-up at times!

Origins Night-A-Mins High Potency Night Cream - For the longest time I always thought it was pointless to spend a load of money on a night cream, but this guy has changed my mind. It has something in it (I'm not very technical) that gently exfoliates the skin and leaves skin looking and feeling new in the morning.

REN AHA Concentrate - I only got this toward the end of the year, and it works in the same way as the cream above, it is a chemical exfoliant that eats away the dead skin cells on your face and leaves your skin looking brighter and clearer in the morning.

Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask - I use this after nights I've given my face an exfoliation, and it really plumps the skin back up and leaves your skin hydrated and fresh in the morning.

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Cleansing Balm - The most luxurious cleanser ever. I look forward to using this every night. It just leaves my skin feeling cleans and moisturized and smells gorgeous.

Garnier Make-up Remover - I use this before using the Emma Haride to break down my make-up and remove the majority of it. It works in the same way as Bioderma, and as I've never tried Bioderma I can't fully compare, but it's cheaper and easier to get.

What have your skincare faves been?

2012 Favourites: Hair

Hello, I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and a great evening celebrating the New Year last night. I decided to have a little blogging break over Christmas hence the lack of comments and zero posts, but now I'm back, and I thought I'd start with my 2012 favourites. First up, haircare.

Superdrug Coconut Oil - This little guy has been a savior this year. I use it on damp hair on the ends, and also cover dry hair in it for an overnight mask. I swear it has really made such a difference to the condition of my hair. And it's only £3.

Tangle Teezer - I think I've raved about this a lot this year, but it seriously is amazing.

L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil - I love using this as a finishing oil and it really smooths fly aways and makes my hair look so soft and silky. It also smells gorgeous.

Aussi Miracle Hair Insurance Leave-in- Conditioner - I've been using this for years and still love it, from the smell to the way it makes my hair smell, it's just gorgeous!

And not pictured, but I've also been lucky enough to get both the Enrapture Totem Styler, and the Rollers for Christmas, and they are both a-mazing. I've obviously had the styler longer, but they are both amazing!

What have your hair faves been?
