This is the make-up I wore when I went out on Friday night, the outfit I wore is here! The look I wanted to go for was quite simple, with just one eye colour, and thick liner along with a simple cheek and a pop of colour on the lip.

Fashion Friday: Outfit of Tonight

Top & Clutch : New Look

My two beautiful best friends are home this week for their reading week, so tonight we are heading out into town, and I thought I would share the outfit I plan to wear. I don't really go on many nights out anymore, mainly as most of my friends are at uni, and I live at home and commute, but I find it makes nights out more special. It also means I put more thought into what I wear, hence how I am writing this on Tuesday (always prepared.)

Again this is be being prepared, I'm writing this last Monday, and it is the make-up I wore (/plan to wear) on Friday night. I wanted to go for a bronze eye, natural face and coral-esque lip, as I thought it would compliment the navy of my dress. I'm liking it all, but thinking of maybe ditching the liquid liner for shadow pushed in the lash line instead.

Base:

YSL Touche Eclat Foundation - I could actually write a whole post on this, but I'm only using this as I wanted to use the sample up, it is way too dark for me now as I got matched in summer, and didn't really like it at the time, but now I actually quite like it and I feel it has photographed really well. But yeah, I won't be wearing it out!

Fashion Friday: What I Wore...

....tonight?
Yes, you read that right, this is the outfit I plan to wear tonight. I know, I'm very prepared. I don't know if I've mentioned but I'm currently in Kent, for one of my best friends 21st birthdays, and writing this post on Monday actually, (so prepared) because I really wanted to show you this dress as I'm just in love with it. So yes, I shall be wearing this when we go out celebrating tonight!

I've decided to pair the dress with my nude heels which make me feel very K-Middleton and a nude clutch to boot. Overall, with the up-do too, I feel very classy and elegant, which had to happen sooner or later right?

Also, I only picked this dress up on a whim, thinking ah well, I'll try it on, and was pleasantly surprised with it. So it just goes to show, you don't know until you try.

Face of the Night

If you read yesterdays post you will know that on Saturday night, a group of friends and I decided to go on a little night out, which turned into a big night out, and me with my head in the loo most of Sunday morning claiming I was dieing (tmi? Over dramtic?) A Face of the Night

First of all, thank you so much for the comments, you are all a lovely bunch, and we all seem to share a love for Mean Girls, what could be better? Normal scheduling is now resumed, and my blog will once again be full of my mug!!!

A couple of nights ago, I went out for a meal with my two best friends as we were all finally in the same place at the same time, and I was rather pleased with my make-up & thought I would share. I don't really get the opportunity to do things I class as 'darker' with eye make-up, so I took this night as a time to experiment,  & I was pleased with the outcome.

Fashion Friday

Friday time again (I can hear you all sighing in happiness.) This week I decided to create some going out outfits that if I could, I would get in a heartbeat. I haven't got any nights out planned for a while, but it's nice to have outfits prepared (or is that just me?)

Outfit One:

I love sparkly dresses so much. I think this one from Missguided is so gorgeous. I'm loving slingbacks too, and I wish I could get these Zara ones. Plus, a girl could never have too many clutches.

Outfit Two:

Shorts and tops are such a favourite combination of mine. This spotty blouse from New Look goes so well with these Topshop shorts. Those Topshop shoes are gorgeous, and I love the colour of the clutch. 

Outfit Three:

I'm loving this Lipsy dress, I think it would be so lovely for summer. I tried these New Look shoes on in Beige and loved them so much, but couldn't justify getting them.
