Review: Illmasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow

This product is something I've been lusting after ever since watching this video by Pixiwoo. However, I live rather far from an Illamasqua counter, and never could be bothered to go and get it (pure laziness right here) and then I saw that they were having a 50% off code on their website and snapped at the chance to get my hands on this. For only £8.95!

Hollow is basically a lovely, I would call it mud brown, but I know that that description is usually looked down upon, but it's a cool toned brown that works amazing as a contour. It has no orange undertone compared to it's bronzer counterparts. The fact that it is a cream means its blends amazingly!

This is it compared to the lusted after Tan de Chanel. As you can see it really contains no orange undertone, and is perfect for a contour.

I really can see a more 'slimming' difference in my face when using this, that I've never really achieved from other products. Especially not in such an subtle, undetectable way.

It is also multi-functional, and can be used as an eyeshadow too, or anywhere you want to put it.

Overall, I'm so glad I got this product. I find it really gives my face some dimension and is such the perfect colour. I'd definitely re-purchase.

Have you tried this? What do you think?

Favourite Cream Products

After putting together Tuesday's post, I realised that I have a lot of cream products that I love and I thought I would share them with you in today's post.

MAC Painterly - This product is brilliant for neutralizing your eye colour and creating the perfect base, it also look great on its own for a natural look.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo - I love these Colour Tattoo's, they last for ages, and are in amazing colours. I just wish they would bring out more!

Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow  - I've only had this product a while, but this is gorgeous. I love how dewy and glowy (go figure) this looks on the skin. So perfect.

Chanel Bronze Universal - I forgot just how much I love this bronzer. It adds a healthy bronzed look to the skin, and really picks it up. The fact that it's Chanel doesn't hurt either.

Nars Multiple in South Beach - I honestly love this product so much. It is one of my favourite products of the moment.

What are your top cream products?

A Powder Free FOTD

I was doing my make-up the other day, and realised I didn't use one single powder item, and I thought that warranted a post, especially as I loved the look it gave.

Base:

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation  - I really do love this foundation but I really wish it lasted that little bit longer so that I could wear it everyday. It is gorgeous

Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer

Eyes:
MAC Painterly Paint Pot
Maybelline Eye Khol (not pictured)
Gosh Liner in 015
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
Max Factor Brow Pencil in 2

Cheeks:
Chanel Bronze Universal - I forgot how much I love this, it applies especially well with the Japonesque Safari  Kabuki Brush
Jemma Kidd All Over Radiance Cream

Lips:
MAC Dubonnet and Revlon Berry Smoothie - My new fave lip combo

I do feel like the lip is the only thing that stops this being too summery, but that's ok, right?

Anybody else like the no powder effect?
