A Powder Free FOTD

I was doing my make-up the other day, and realised I didn't use one single powder item, and I thought that warranted a post, especially as I loved the look it gave.



Base:

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation  - I really do love this foundation but I really wish it lasted that little bit longer so that I could wear it everyday. It is gorgeous

Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer

Eyes:
MAC Painterly Paint Pot
Maybelline Eye Khol (not pictured)
Gosh Liner in 015
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
Max Factor Brow Pencil in 2 


Cheeks:
Chanel Bronze Universal - I forgot how much I love this, it applies especially well with the Japonesque Safari  Kabuki Brush
Jemma Kidd All Over Radiance Cream

Lips:
MAC Dubonnet and Revlon Berry Smoothie - My new fave lip combo



I do feel like the lip is the only thing that stops this being too summery, but that's ok, right?

Anybody else like the no powder effect?

    I actually stopped using face powder, I found it didn't make much of a difference since I don't have very oily skin. Its quicker in the mornings too !

      I think I need it for long days as I do have quite oily skin, but if you can get away without using it then that's got be so helpful :)

    I always read your posts and I have a special request

    Please can you do a post about makeup that does NOT test on animals. I got a puppy 1 month ago and I am digusted to hear that sooo many companies test on animals for vanity. Even companies like Chanel claim they dont, but use ingredients which are. I managed to find out urban decay dont but since you have so many followers, you could make people really listen!

      I really don't feel comfortable about doing that, as I'm not very knowledgeable in the subject of animal testing and would hate to give out false information. I'm sure there are lots of other bloggers who have much more knowledge than I do, and would love to post about it, or have posted about it, from the top of my head I would suggest, http://samantha-avena.com/

    Did you replace the wand of the Maybelline mascara for one you liked better or is that the one it comes with? xx

      Haha wow. I love the formula but never repurchased it again because I didn't get on with the wand. I'll have to go back and try which one fits.
