Perfect Pairing

These two purchases were completely influenced by Suzie and Kat.I got home from work one night and saw their videos in my subscription box, and as usual, decided I needed to purchase items from their videos.

First up was the Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Notting Hill Nude. Now I love these lipsticks. I think the formulation is gorgeous and the colour payoff is just lovely. I already have quite the collection, and when I spotted this in Suzie's get ready with me video I knew I wanted this. I was going to a wedding the day after and knew this lipstick would compliment my dress perfectly, so I hop footed it to Boots on the morning and it was mine. The perfect pinky brown nude that nourishes your lips at the same time.

Whilst I was in Boots I noticed the lip liners right near the lipsticks and remembered Kat's video where she was talking about lip liners and decided that I needed a lip liner too; I mean it was going to be a long day and I needed to keep my lipstick in place. So I ended up getting Lip Liner in Spice. I really like how this looks, and have found these two products to just compliment each other perfectly.

Have you got any new perfect pairings?

The Perfect Combination

There are some things in life that just go perfectly together. Take Minnie and Mickey for example, Ice Cream from a Van in the park, baths with bubbles, Tom and Jerry, and not forgetting popcorn and films on a quiet night in. (Bridget Jones would be my film of choice, followed by Mean Girls, Clueless...)

So with that in mind, I'd thought I'd share a few combinations that I am loving at the moment.

I've been loving using MAC Naked Lunch all over my lid, with Quarry in the crease and a slick of the Loreal Super Liner Luminizer for Hazel eyes on the lash line. It gives a lovely purple/natural look to my eyes, and I've been wearing it almost daily.

On its own, I am not a fan of this foundation, but mixed with this primer, I love it. It adds luminosity, dewiness and makes it easier to blend and looks lovely on.

Glitter polish at the moment, is a must for me. I love placing a bit of glitter for a statement nail. I find it just transforms your nails!

What is your favourite combination?
