Review: Bumble and Bumble Sea Salt Spray

Ever since I heard that Bumble and Bumble was hitting Boots, I was a woman on a mission to find this little product. I know it is widely available online, but there is just something special about picking something up in a shop and bring it home with you.

It was only after heading up to the Trafford Centre with Shen that I finally found it, and today I thought I'd share with you my thoughts on it.

Firstly here is my hair prior to the spray.
And her it is after.

After you can see my hair looks a lot bigger, and has added a few more waves to my it.

I really like this product, and I do find it to work a lot better at adding texture and making my hair have that messy, just got out the sea, lying on the beach waves than the Toni and Guy version that I was previously using.

One problem I do find with it is that I've found it dries my hair out quite a bit, whether that be the salt, or something, which does make me hesitate when using it.

Apart from that, I really like this product and would recommend, as long as you don't have fragile hair.

Have you tried this? What do you think?

  1. I neeeed it :( I have Umberto Gianini and Mark Hill salt sprays but neither of them do anything, maybe it's my hair though. Your hair is beautiful! You need to share ;) xxxx

  2. Oh wow, that looks great! I don't think I could use it on my hair though if you say it dries it out. I don't think my hair could get any drier!

    Thanks for the review!

  3. Your hair looks so pretty. I might get some of this when I get the chop. Hair is too long to do anything at the moment.

  5. It is quite impressive, but since it dries your hair wouldn't it just be better to spray it with some hair spray (lightly) and squish it with your hands? I feel when I do that it looks the same as when I use the salt. :)

  6. This salt spray gives a nice effect, I've got short hair so doesn't work for me but when my hair was long I probably would have given this a try :)

  12. I've heard so much about this from magazines and bloggers but have always been afraid that sea salt sprays may be a bit gritty and dry out my hair :(
It does look impressive though...so I'm once again still on the fence.

    1. I don't find it gritty, but can find it drying. Maybe just not use it daily?

  14. Looks great! I purchased this and returned it because I just found it didn't give my hair a whole lot more oomph. Maybe I was just using it wrong.....eh.....
