As I mentioned in an earlier post, when I went away for New Year I forgot my toiletry bag, so had to quick step over to Boots and pick up a few pieces, and I thought I'd share them with you today.
The first thing I just had to pick up was the Garnier Simple Essentials Make-up Remover. I love how this just gets rid of every scrap of make-up.
Now I actually didn't get these as my friend had make-up wipes, but if I had bought some, it would've been these Kleenex ones as I love them.
I decided to get a hot cloth cleanser of some kind as I love how fresh they make my skin feel. I obviously couldn't get a Liz Earle one or one similar so had to make do with this No.7 one, but I don't recommend it. I found the smell to be overpowering and floral, and did not leave my skin feeling any better.
For moisturiser I had to get one without SPF as I was going out and didn't want flash back in photos, and I love this one from Good Things. It really does mattify and help with the longevity of foundation.
What would you have to pick up?

I love the Kleenex wipes too! I've never tried that No.7 cleanser but I did smell it in the shop once and thought the same as you.
ReplyDeleteHow on earth did you forget your toiletry bag though? YOU?! ;)

They are so good :)
DeleteYeah it's so strong :(
I don't know :( So annoying!!!!

You are a very silly billy Laura. I'd of picked up some make up wipes and some simple cleanser and moisturiser. They've never broken me out. Or soap and glory stuff. They do a nice hot cloth cleanser.

Love the Garnier make up removed. Strangely though I hate it for all over my face but it removes eye make up like no other - and so cheap too :)
ReplyDeleteI love the No7 Hot Cloth Cleaner, but I use one that's in a pump and its blue? Its unscented so it might be a good one to try next time :)
x
I'll remember that for next time, thank you :)

Oh that must have been soooo annoying! I really want to try that moisturiser now. And so the list gets longer and longer! I think I'll just buy everything in boots. You and your beauty products are a constant reminder of how sad it is to not live in the UK! xx Laura

As far as face wipes go I love the Kleenex ones. If you're having a lazy night and want to take your makeup off quick they're great!

I can't believe you forgot your toiletries, it must have been so frustrating. I love the sound of the Good Things moisturiser and I have to pick up that make up remover! If I got forgot mine I'd grab some Soap and Glory Hand Food, doubles up as face moisturiser if I'm desperate xx
