Urban Decay 'All Nighter' Spray

Although I am only in Uni two days a week, which is rather nice, it means the days I am in are long, most Tuesday's it's 9-6 with the occasional 9-8, which means when I'm applying my make-up at 7 in the morning, I need it to last. So I've been trying out products which will help my make-up last. Enter the 'All Nighter' spray.

Now, being £19 I was expecting miracles, which I didn't really get. Now I'm not saying it was terrible, but I don't know, I was really hoping I wouldn't have to touch up my make-up at all, but maybe my expectations were too high?

To use this product, you just spray 4-6 sprays all across your face after applying your make-up. It doesn't give a dewy look, like you may expect from basically spraying liquid on your face, my make-up looked exactly the same.

(Just Make-up / No Spray)

(Make-up 9 hours later)

As you can see, most of my make-up has faded from my skin, only really mascara and a faint bit of foundation is left.

(Exactly the same make-up/Same day a week after/ With Spray)
(Apologies for the lighting, it was darker that morning)

(Nine hours later)

Nothing too dramatic with the spray, but I can see a slight bit of blush left, and more foundation appears to be on too.

So overall, I really like the concept of this product, but I don't know if it has won me over. I do think that I am putting too many expectations on it, but for £!9, I almost feel just in this.

I do want to say though, I have noticed that this has worked really well with my Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation, on helping that last longer, so maybe not all is lost.

I guess time will tell when it comes to re-purchasing the product.

What do you think? Do you use this product?

Laura xoxo

  1. I'm not really convinced by the sprays. I've used the mac fix plus spray and I don't think it makes makeup last longer. I think using a good primer is a better options and topping up with powder!
I had a long day like that a uni one semester, days go on forever haha :) x

  7. I do have this product as well. Now I can see that my makeup does last longer, but not all day. And certainly not all night as well. Yet if I know I'm going to a party and I do my makeup right before I leave this keeps my makeup on for just about the whole time. Which is nice. I do agree with you when you spend that much you expect it to work as it advertise.

PS found your blog from the blog hop

  10. I've heard people say the same about being initially disappointed but then they sprayed it on before their makeup application and then after and it did the trick...I don't know if it'll work for you but it might be worth a try?!
