Call of Beauty: Summer Holiday Addition

In case the new backdrop behind my posts this week hasn't given it away, and my few tweets, I've been on holiday this last week. My family and I headed down south for a week in Torquay, and are heading back today. I thought it may be nice to do a post on the few things I took with me. I didn't take much make-up wise (for me) as I wanted to embrace the natural look, but here is what I did take:

Base:
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer
Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer
Maybelline Dream Matte Powder

Eyes:
MAC Pro Palette
Stilla Natural Eyes Palette
MAC Painterly
Loreal Super Liner
MUA Eye Primer
Max Factor High Defintion Mascara
Gosh Liner in 015
Sleek Brow Kit

Face:
Chanel Bronze Universal
Benefit Watts Up

Lips:
Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie
Revlon Kissable Balm Stain in Honey

I  ended up needing hardly any of it, and did go make-up free most days, but for the few evenings we went out (we usually go out every night, but the place we stayed was so nice we decided to stay in quite a lot,) it was nice to be able to play about a bit.

Skincare, Morning:

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
Good Things Miracle Mattifier
Good Things  Bright Eyes Eye Cream
Garnier Vital Restore Moisturiser

Evening:

Nivea Cleansing Lotion
Nivea Daily Esstentials Eye Make-up Remover
Origins Super Spot Remover
Garnier Youthful Radiance
Avene Cleanace K
N Spa Toner
Garnier Under Eye Roll On

Keep your eyes peeled for some evening face of the days as I have post lined up (I can feel your excitement.)

What are your holiday essentials?

Laura xoxo

  2. I wasn't allowed to take as much away as you :'( I always just use the same as at home but a 'stronger' moisturizer because my skin gets dryer by the sea. Looking forward to seeing your face posts :) xxxx
