Library Face

Yes, you read the title of this post correctly. On a Friday, and the occasional Saturday, I spend my time Volunteering at a library.  Now, in this library, it is VERY hot, so I've had to make sure my make-up won't melt, or smear across my face, as I don't have chance to look at myself to make sure my eyeliner hasn't smudged and given me a black forehead (yes, this has happened before.) And being the vane narcissist that I am, I decided to share my look with you guys.

Base:
Loreal Mineral Foundation
Estee Lauder Double Wear Concelear - Blemishes
Soap&Glory Trick&Treatment - Eyes (not pictured 'cause I forgot)
MUA Eye Primer

Eyes:
Sleek Brow Kit
Painterly Paint Pot
Malt eyeshadow - Base
Omega eyeshadow - Crease
Beauty UK Palette 4, the Chocolate Brown colour - Upper and lower lash line
Gosh Liner in 015
Max Factor High Definition Mascara

Face:
Hoola Bronzer - contour (again, I forgot to picture)
Cabana Boy Blush
MSF in Soft and Gentle

Lips:
Berry Smoothie Lip Butter

(I only got the MAC shadows last week, so only wore this exact look once, but before I used, Painterly with Front Cover's Baked Bronze on the lash lines.)

So this is the final look, and I must say, it holds up well in the heat, and I think, apart from the eyes, it looks rather natural and fresh, so pretty good for a summer look?

What's your favourite no sweat make-up?

Laura xoxo

  1. I like this lip butter :)
It's a lovely summery look! I look awful when I'm too natural, so the eyes are perfect :) xxxx

  2. I think the eyes look natural and fresh as well! I love this look, it's understated but polished. And I'm sure the products you selected will mean no more smudged marks on your forehead :p

  6. I lovelovelove my BeautyUK brown palette. It's so handy for every day wear. I work in a shop, with no air con, running around all day. :/ I might have to steal this look for myself!

I think it's good, but too over priced for what it is, and that you could probs get a better one :)
