Benefit - Tan About Town

***Bargain Alert***

I was in my local Boots, as I usually spend most of my time there apparently, and was at the till to pay, I only had two bottles of Pepsi Max in my hand and an Eat Natural bar (I love those!) and saw this little package for a mere £9, so into my hand it came, and it followed me all the way home. (I did buy it, just to clarify!)

This is how it was lovingly packaged! I love it when things are organised like this, it pleases my OCD mind!

So inside this little kit contains, a Bad Gal Mascara, Hoola, and some foundation which I don't really get. But I think it's still worth it for the Bad Gal and Hoola.

Foundation type thing. I think it's a bit too dark for me, but going to look into in summer.

I think this mascara is really good. I think it's just as good as my favourite mascara (Max Factor High Definition) but the price difference will be having me going back to Max Factor, but if you've got the cash to splash, go for it!

I really, really like this. I think it is a really good contour shade, it's slightly orange in this picture, but it looks so good in real life (if I do say so myself.) I really want to get this now. (Can you hear my purse screaming? Step away from the Benefit counter)

Also I feel like I should say, I love the size of this. I think that high end companies should sell their products for cheaper and this size, as some times, we are never going to finish the big packages they get, and we will be able to buy and try more. Maybe one day?

So this is my face of Benefit, I also have a the new Hello Oxygen foundation (review to come) on and my Hervana blusher.

What do you think of this pack? Bargain, or not bothered?

Laura xoxo

  2. I would have probably bought it too as I have a slight obsession with all things Benefit. I have to say, I don't like the Oxygen Wow foundation you mentioned. It feels too heavy on my skin and leaves me looking a little orange. What do you think about it?x

    1. I'm really getting in to Benefit, but no I didn't like it either. I'm hoping my review will be up next week, if you wanna see my full opinion haha :)
Also, I nearly ended up Orange and asked for the shade down, apparently they always go darker the woman told me :)

  3. Benefit Hoola is one of my all-time favorite bronzers! I've been using it daily lately to contour & add a bit of color to my face :)

  4. Haha I love how you just had to clarify that you did in fact pay for it!! I do like Benefit but don't actually own that much from them because sometimes I think they're just asking a bit too much for what they sell, I don't know if it;s just me that thinks that? Who knows! Great post anyway and the blush does look lovely :)

    1. I realised it sounded a bit dodgy haha! I totally agree, the prices are quite expensive, which is why I love stuff like this, means you can test products before you splurge!
      Thank you Sophie :)

  8. Bargain!! I love benefit. I spent a fortune on it when I got my first student loan (or was it overdraft...) and didn't use most of the stuff. I have a few bits & pieces now but I always go back to the Bad Gal Lash

  10. Very nice price! I wish Benefit were more affordable here, that same set probably would've cost at least $40 I'm guessing. I've heard so many good things about Hoola, it looks gorgeous on you :)

  11. Definitely a bargain. I've used that mascara for quite a while now - it lasts really well and doesn't clump so definitely a winner in my book! x
