Loreal Gentle Foaming Exfoliater

My skin is being very temperamental, it's deciding to break out around my cheeks and chin, but then a,sk really dry on my outer cheeks and forehead. I think I over-dried it trying to get rid of all the oils and blemishes. I stopped trying to be so harsh on my cheeks, but now I realised I need to exfoliate regularly try get rid of the dry skin.

I was drawn to this scrub as I loved the little scrubbing item it came with. I also like how it is aimed for all skin types, which mine is. It is also meant to be gentle, which I think will help as I have been too harsh on my skin, which I believe has led me to this predicament.

I just pop a pea size amount on the scrubber (can't for the life of me think of a better word,) then run it under some warm water. I then rub it onto my (already wet) face and it starts to lather up. Now I was expecting it to lather up slightly more than it does as it says it's a foaming wash. It is a gentle wash and the beads don't feel too rough, and my skin is left feeling nice and soft.

I use this scrub, after removing my make-up. I then follow up with my usual evening skin care routine.

Have you used any of the new Loreal face products, or this one in particular?

  1. I work at Lush Cosmetics so can provide you with a little advice about skincare... If like me you have quite an oily t-zone, cleansing your skin too often to try and get rid of the oiliness is the worst thing that you can do because your skin panics and tries to produce more oil to over compensate. We need to retain the good oils in our skin so that the skin doesn't go into panic mode and overproduce more oil.

Once your dryness on your cheeks is cleared up, you should try using a fresh cleanser from Lush called Herbalism, have you heard of it before? Have a Google and pop into a Lush shop and ask for a sample so you can try it out but it sounds like it would be perfect for your skin,

  5. This looks great. I have dry skin and find that I need to exfoliate more regularly than I care to, but with the fun little scrubber (!) I might find the process a little more exciting xx
