Celebrity Inspired

So this week I've kind of done a special celebrity inspired, rather than just trying to re-create the make-up I've also done clothes and hair.
The idea for this came from watching Clueless last weekend. I love that film, hands down all time favourite. You just can't beat it, and if you haven't watched you really need too. I have focused this on Cher, played by the gorgeous Alicia Silverstone. Cher wears simple classic make-up, big volumised hair and clothes that scream 90's (in a good way.)
I hope you enjoy.

Make-up:

Face:
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in 52 (applied with Real Techniques Stippling brush)
Max Factor Powder in Truley Fair
Rimmel Hide The Blemish Concealer in Sand
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch concealer

Eyes:
MUA Neutral Palette (colours shown by brushes)
Asda Brown Eyeliner
MUA Eyebrow Pencil
No.7 Lash Adapt Mascara in Brown

Contour:
Collection 2000 Mosaic Glow
Rimmel Winter Glow Blusher
MeMeMe Moonbeam Highlighter

Lips:
Rimmel Pink, Pink Excess
No.7 Lipgloss in Smile

Hair:

Cher wears her hair mainly straight with lots of volume. I have quite fine hair and getting volume is a problem. I used the TIGI Small Talk through my damp hair, then blow dried it upside down till it was about 80% dry. Then I sectioned off my hair and used my round brush to make it straight, but add volume to the roots. If your hair is frizzy, or isn't straight enough, just go over the ends with your straighteners, just don't go too near the roots as you will loose volume.

Clothes:

So that is the end of the looks I've created. I hope you find it entertaining? (I think that is the word I'm looking for.) I also want to say a big thank you to everyone who reads/comments/follows my blog. It really means a lot.

Have you seen Clueless?

Laura xoxo
