Revlon: Smoky Canvas

I love nail varnish and it would be very rare for you to see me without nail varnish on. I have seen quite a lot of people sporting Revlon's Storm colour however couldn't find it today so I consoled myself with the lovely light grey/nude colour which is Smoky Canvas.

It's a gorgeous nude colour which can be worn so easily with anything. It's a quite thick consistency without being gloopy and overloading the nail. You could easily achieve the colour in the bottle with one coat however I decided to opt for two just to make sure. It apply easily and I just love the final colour. I usually opt for colours that stand out more but this is such a lovely and simple everyday colour. I am very impressed and pleased with my purchase.

Here is how the colour compares with the shade in the bottle:

One of my favourite things about this nail varnish is that it does look like what is in the bottle which I find doesn't always happen with paler colours.

For this final look I used 'Save the Nail,' which I think is by Nails Inc but doesn't say on the bottle and I threw the packaging away, as a base coat, two coats of Smoky Canvas and Sally Hansen's 'Insta-Dri' as a top coat.

What is your favourite nude colour?
