Top Three Cleansers

There's nothing I love more than coming home after a long tiring day of being me and taking off my make-up. Because of that I thought I'd share with you my top cleansers.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish - sadly, at time of print (hohoho) I'm out of this cleanser. I used to use this as my morning cleanser and it really allowed my skin to wake up and got rid of the dirt and grime from a nights sleep.

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm: I love this baby. This is my second pot. It's slightly heavy and rich, but still works well with my oily skin. It leaves my skin smooth and make-up free, and smells lovely. It also comes with rosehip exfoliating seeds which are lovely.

REN No1 Purity Cleansing Balm: This works in pretty much the same vain as the Emma Hardie. It's slightly lighter and has a really strong scent which I find lingers in my bathroom. It doesn't bother me, nor effect my skin, but it is something you may want to keep in miind.

What's your favourite cleanser?

Laura xoxo

  1. I love the tub of the Emma Hardie one :)
I miss my Liz Earle one, if only for the superior muslin cloth. No7 is still my baby!
I have been using that Origins one you gave me and it made my face feel nice but it made my skin a bit patchy (even though it's supposed to be balancing?!) so I passed it on to my mother who is loving it and has demanded a full size one for her birthday. She and I both thank you!

  3. That REN cleanser was the worst product I ever used on my skin, I have switched back to an oil cleanser

    1. Ah that's a shame. Guess it shows how skincare is subjective!!!

  4. I am Liz Earle through and through. My skin is behaving so well at the moment and I'm not tempted to change at all!

  5. Do you use a separate makeup remover? I usually can't be bothered which is why I need my cleanser to be able to get rid of all my eye makeup, which can be tricky. Would love to try all 3 of these - they all sound lovely and a treat for the skin :)

    1. Yeah I do :) I use two actually, I use a Garnier (Bioderma wannabe) make-up remover on a cotton pad to get rid of as much as it can, then move onto an Origins Oil make-up remover, then cleanse :/
They are all lovely, and they work really well with dissolving eye make-up btw :)

  6. I really want to try the Emma Hardie cleanser, have read such good reviews on it. Try the MD formulations glycolic cleanser, fabulous for a second cleanse and helping with cell turnover xx
