If you saw my holiday make-up post, you will see that I wore my hair up a few times, which for me is quite strange. I see my hair as a comfort barrier, and wearing it up is something I don't do often, unless it is a messy bun. So I thought I would share with you the way I wore it, as it is super easy, but looks rather fancy, if I do say so myself.
I don't know why I felt the need to pull a stupid face!
To see how I do this, see this post.
And voila! Super easy and simple, and each time it looks slightly different, but I really like it.
I'm also on the look out for some other up do hair looks, so if you have any, please send them my way!
Do you like wearing your hair up or down?

This looks so pretty, I do love your hair up :)
ReplyDeleteI think you should try a hair bow, they're really easy! :) xxxx
Thank you :)
DeleteHaha, well I accidently gave myself a bow once haha, it didn't really suit me :(

Gorgeous! You should wear your hair up more often.

Beautiful :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm always wearing hair in a massive messy bun so i might try this to look a bit more elegant lolxxx
I'm a messy bun person too haha!

This looks really pretty, I like it :) I've become pretty lazy with my hair recently and tend to just throw it into a messy bun, but not even a nice messy bun, just a blob on my head...must make more of an effort!

Thank you :)
DeleteHaha, some days I don't even re-do my bun after I've slept in it, then it's a really messy bun haha!

Simple and classy! I think updos can be so flattering as they seem to lift the face and give a more youthful, fresh look. Loooveee the side braid, so cute and feminine :)
ReplyDeleteThank you :)

that looks lovely, I'm never sure what to do with my hair when I put it up so will definitely be trying this x

Yay, I would love to see how you get on with it :)

I've always preferred my hair up rather than down, but because its so short at the moment I struggle to find a decent up-do style for it :( I might give this a go.
ReplyDeleteGreat tutorial. Thanks for sharing :)

P.S I've just posted a 1960's inspired beehive hairstyle along with a video tutorial if you'd like to have a look; http://laurasallmadeupbeauty.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/1960s-beehive-hair-style-ft-john-frieda.html
Thank you :)
DeleteI remember struggling when I had short hair!
Oo I'll have a look thanks :)

I need to give this a go, because putting my hair up is literally just that, and usually results in it all falling out by the end of the day (: Need to master this french plait technique first! xx
ReplyDeleteI would love to know how you get on :)
DeleteHaha, it's more of a twist than a plait :)
xoxo
i like it:)
ReplyDeleteThanks :)

I'm the hair always up type, but it's usually always the same style. So it's really helpful to see your tutorials like this. I love that you don't take yourself too seriously, you always look happy and carefree in your pics! It's very endearing x
ReplyDeleteOoo see I'm always hair down haha, but same style! Glad to have helped :)
DeleteThank you, that's such a lovely thing to say :)
