Hair How To: A Little Up Do

If you saw my holiday make-up post, you will see that I wore my hair up a few times, which for me is quite strange. I see my hair as a comfort barrier, and wearing it up is something I don't do often, unless it is a messy bun. So I thought I would share with you the way I wore it, as it is super easy, but looks rather fancy, if I do say so myself.

I don't know why I felt the need to pull a stupid face!

To see how I do this, see this post.

And voila! Super easy and simple, and each time it looks slightly different, but I really like it.

I'm also on the look out for some other up do hair looks, so if you have any, please send them my way!

Do you like wearing your hair up or down?

  5. This looks really pretty, I like it :) I've become pretty lazy with my hair recently and tend to just throw it into a messy bun, but not even a nice messy bun, just a blob on my head...must make more of an effort!

Haha, some days I don't even re-do my bun after I've slept in it, then it's a really messy bun haha!

  6. Simple and classy! I think updos can be so flattering as they seem to lift the face and give a more youthful, fresh look. Loooveee the side braid, so cute and feminine :)

  8. I've always preferred my hair up rather than down, but because its so short at the moment I struggle to find a decent up-do style for it :( I might give this a go.

Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing :)

  9. I need to give this a go, because putting my hair up is literally just that, and usually results in it all falling out by the end of the day (: Need to master this french plait technique first! xx

Haha, it's more of a twist than a plait :)

  10. I'm the hair always up type, but it's usually always the same style. So it's really helpful to see your tutorials like this. I love that you don't take yourself too seriously, you always look happy and carefree in your pics! It's very endearing x
