As I'm doing my superficial University Series, I thought I'd continue with what I typically wear on to Uni. Now I would class myself as casual, not completely jeans and a hoodie, but not over dressed, which is how I feel most comfortable. Here are a few items I would class as 'essentials.'
Most of us go back to school/uni in the Autumn, and in England this means rain, wind and well miserable ness. My vocabulary is so good.... Anyway, I used to walk to uni and these boots have seen me pretty well. They keep my legs warm as it also means I have socks on, and I think riding style boots look cute, but of course you can wear uggs, or anything type of boots. But I find they are more durable than ballet flats.
I live in leggings. I find them so comfy and cosy, and so much easier to wear than jeans, which is what you need when sitting in lectures for hours.
Can you see a pattern here, comfort first. I love big slouchy tops to just snuggle into and feel cosy in, whilst watching the rain pour down the window, and listening to your lecturer of course.
Again, Autumn and Winter are cold, plus it makes a pretty snuggly pillow for when your hungover and bored, but obviously that never happens to me....
Here is a selection of outfits of my uni outfits from my What I Wore Today posts. This is more springy clothes, but still gives you an idea!
Hope this has been slightly helpful.
Happy Friday :)

Love your 'uni-style'. I used to live in jeans and jumpers for uni! A scarf was especially useful for quick power naps in the library whilst living off coffee to see you through writing a dissertation! Btw, where did you get your boots from? I'm looking for some riding style boots for this season.

I'm completely with you - comfort above all else! I also prefer tights to jeans, they're just much more comfortable. I love chunky knit scarves and boots as well :)
ReplyDeleteJeans are so uncomfortable I think!

I really like your uni outfits. Mine are very similar, but I tend to wear jeans instead of leggings. They're not as comfortable, but I sometimes feel like leggings are too thin and would make me feel cold. And most of them are not exactly flattering to my legs. :D
