I have here their eye primer, I think it cost £2.50 and thought it worth a try. I firstly thought this would be good to even out the colour on my lids, which it is, and just use on it's own, which didn't really work as it creased too quickly unfortunately.
Here is what it looks like on its own. A very neutral colour, that just blends out the colour in my eyes. It has a slight sticky and tacky consistency, which I'm guessing helps keep the eye shadow on.
Here is my make-up freshly applied in the morning. It applies with ease over the top of the primer and looks as it would without.
And here is how my make-up lasted over the day. I know the lighting's different, but it pretty much stayed in place over the day. The darker outside colour has faded slightly and so has the liner, but the main lid colour has stayed in place, and no creasing has occurred.
This is around 8 hours wear, so pretty impressive. I think it is definitely a useful tool to have, and will be extra useful in summer when my lids will probably be oilier than they already are.
I'm definitely impressed with this product, and now want to try their face primer too.
Have you tried this product? What do you think?

I'd like to try this, and I'd be tempted by their face one too as the expensive No.7 one has let me down big time!
ReplyDeleteLove your eyeshadow colour too :) xxx
I've never tried No.7 but I don't really have a primer that I feel works?
DeleteThis is really good though :)
Thanks, I would tell you what it is, but I change it too much and can't remember as I think I did this Saturday haha.
xoxo
I know what you mean, I'm a bit hesitant about trying a new one. Might just be easier to keep re-applying my make up haha. xxx
DeleteYeah, but I also hate re-applying my make-up, for some reason I just don't do it haha.

I have loads of UD primer left but when that runs out I will try this.

I've never tried the UD one, but I've heard this is very similar, and cheaper ;)

I may have to invest!! Creasing make up is my pet hate of make up, plus I work abroad in the summer so I've got a feeling this may help when it's hot?

I know me too, so annoying.
DeleteI haven't been able to test it in heat, but I think it would be really helpful :)
