Bonzer: Contouring

When I first started blogging, I did a post on Bronzers. It wasn't the best, I was new to blogging, and bronzers for that matter, however I've decided to re-do that post with my new Bronzer collection, and show you how I use them for contouring.
With all these looks I have used my Real Techniques Contour Brush from The Core Collection.

Bronzer 1: The Bourjois Delice de Poudre (The one that looks like chocolate)

Excuse the annoying hair!

The first with flash, the second without.

I really like this bronzer. It' quite dark in the plan, but I think it gives quite a complimentary tone. It contains a slight, slight glimmer, which only shows in the pan. I really like using this bronzer. It does contain a slight scent, which I'm unsure is breaking me out, however I'm not 100% sure. Really like this bronzer.

Bronzer 2: Collection 2000 Shimmering Mosaic Glow

You can't really see this bronzer in the picture without flash, which is good as it means that it gives a subtle contour to my cheek, but not too much. This bronzer gives a lovely colour when all mixed together and looks really lovely. It quite an inexpensive product too so definitely worth looking into.

Bronzer 3: Sleek Contour Palette in Light

Again this bronzer is very subtle, and I didn't really like it at first use, however it has really grown on me recently. I really like the slight bronze/shadow effect it can give, without being overpowering. The highlighter it comes with is also really good.

So these are the bronzers I'm using at the moment. When I lift my spending ban I'm definitely going to look into the infamous Laguna and Hoola bronzer.

Do you use any of these? Any other recommendations?

  3. I think I like the Sleek one the best, but they all work well. Seems like you've got the technique down pat! Bronzer is the one thing I don't really use and I haven't really figured out ... one day soon.

    1. I seem to be having a love/hate with the sleek one, sometimes I love it, sometimes it's too orangey?
Ah I just do trial and error, I've found this video really helpful if you want to watch?
