Three Ways To: Waken Tired Eyes

Tired eyes are something I deal with a lot, numerous people comment on how tired I look, unfortunately it is genetic so I have to rely on the magic of make-up to make my eyes look more awake in the morning. So for another 'Three Ways' post I've decided to let you in on my tired eyes tricks.

First up, a good highlighting concealer is key. I love, love, love this one by Maybelline, it really does a great job of concealing dark circles and brightening up my face.

A nude eyeliner is great for eradicating any redness and also brigthening up the eye area.

Finally a bit of highlight in the inner corner of your eye is a sure way to brighten and make your eyes look wider.

What are your eye brightening tips?

Also, my favourite eye creams are the Good Things Eye Brightening Cream, and I love Garnier Roll On eyeball.

  1. Eye creams will be the death of me, they never work! I am trying a new one by palmers, I don't know if I like it though. I have no luck with them :(

  2. Lovely tips :) I always highlight my inner corners - makes them so much brighter and awake! You should maybelline cover stick concealer in Ivory - works a treat for dark circles!! Xx.

  3. I love the garnier roller balls.. the one with a hint of concealer is good for adding a tiny bit of coverage and then i pop my normal concealer over the top to cover up any other darkeness

you have made me want that maybelline concealer, i don't own a brightening concealer! and i'm finding my current one it a little too heavy for under the eye!

my favourite eye brightening products are liz earle's soothing eye lotion and origins ginzing eye cream :)
