Front Cover

When browsing my local Boots I found the stand for Front Cover. I hadn't really seen much of this brand but was drawn to it due to the fact you could create your own eye shadow palette. The colours look really pigmented and I though £15 for four shadows and a case was an alright price so went for it, especially as when swatching the colours they came across very pigmented.

The four colours I picked up where, Miss Grey, Sunray, Frosted Almond and Baked Bronze. I tried to choose colours that I thought would work well together and that I don't really own.

Here is how they swatched:

Please excuse my terrible swatching and bad camera angle.lighting.

Here is how they look in the palette with and then without flash:

As you can see a mirror and brush are also provided which makes it good for taking on the go. The brush isn't the best quality, a little too hard for my liking, however it is defiantly usable. I used the white brush to apply all over the lid ad the little brush to put colour in my crease. I think the little brush would work well wet to apply the colour onto the water line.

Here are a couple of looks I created:
Frosted Almond all over the lid and Baked Bronze in the crease (I also have Loreal Liquid Eyeliner for Hazel Eyes on too.)

In this look I have used Sunray over the lid and Miss Grey in the crease:

And I haven't mentioned the best bit yet. When I got to the till I found out that each individual colour cost only £1 and the palette cost £3 I think. So I save quite a lot of money on this. I'm also tempted to go back and make another palette.

What do you think? Have you already tried Front Cover? Will you be making a palette?
