Bourjois Paris : Smoky Eyes

I love having a smokey eye, it is such a lovely look and suits everyone. When I was out shopping in Boots one day I decided to try out the Bourjois Paris Smoky eyes palette as I thought it would be good for a Smoky eye if I was away from home and couldn't take all my make up with me.

As you can see it contains quite dark and shimmery colours making it perfect for a night out. I used the middle brown all over the lid which gave such a lovely warm brown colour. I then place the darker brown in my crease and outer corner of my eye, I think I could've taken it higher for more drama but it gives such a lovely contrast and sutble definition in the crease. I then used the glittery colour at the top as I highlight and in the inner corner of my eye. I also think it would look lovely place a little over the medium brown to give it more shimmer.

As you can see it does look very subtle, however if I were wearing it for a night out I would definitely build more colour up into it. To finish I added a tiny bit of Max Factor liquid liner and I have Max Factor High Definition Mascara on.
