I think I've mentioned before that I was lucky enough to receive the Urban Decay Naked 2 for Christmas. Instead of doing a plain review on this product, as there are many out there, and I am definitely in the camp of it is amazing, pricey, but amazing, I thought I'd show you 3 little looks I've put together.

Fashion Friday: One Jumper, Three Ways

I have wanted this Topshop jumper for soo long, and I finally got my hands on it Sunday, and I love it. I wore it to uni on Tuesday and it is just so comfortable, and really worth every penny. So here is three different ways I could wear it.

Shirt: Forever 21
Skirt: Topshop
Boots: New Look

This first look is one that is now my favourites. I really love my Topshop skirt and these boots too, I feel like it just gives a more girly look to the jumper.

Everything: New Look

This is a look I think you could make a work to evening outfit. I love that this jumper is high enough for me to wear a short necklace with it.

This is the way I actually wore it to uni on Tuesday, comfy and simple.

So here are three ways I would wear this jumper, how would you?

Also, really sorry for the quality of these pictures, it's been a long week, but really wanted to get this post up and I didn't have time to re-take them.

Three Ways To: Apply Foundation

Before I started blogging or watching Youtube I always just used to apply my foundation with fingers. I could never work with the type of foundation brush I bought and it was just simpler that way. I then moved onto brushes, and was amazed at the flawless finish they could give, and also that a foundation brush wasn't only the flat paint brush type. Now I know that certain products need different techniques, so I thought I would share the three ways I apply foundation.

A brush is probably my favourite way to apply foundation. I just know that afterwards I will be left with a flawless finish. I also feel that using brushes give you better coverage too. Obviously a different brush will give different coverage because of it's density, for example the Real Techniques Stippling Brush will give lighter coverage than the Buffing Brush, both however are great brushes.

'scuse the dirty sponge, but I actually use it, shock horror! I love using this with my Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, and find that when using a damp sponge it makes my foundation look extremely natural and second skin like, which is a look I love. But I do find it takes longer to get the stuff on my face, so it's not an everyday technique for me.

And finally fingers. This is probably the easiest way to apply foundation to your face, but make sure you clean your hands first so no germs get onto your face. Also make sure everything is blended thoroughly to make sure you aren't left with tell tale lines.

So these are my three favourites ways to apply foundation, what are yours?

Three Ways To: Waken Tired Eyes

Tired eyes are something I deal with a lot, numerous people comment on how tired I look, unfortunately it is genetic so I have to rely on the magic of make-up to make my eyes look more awake in the morning. So for another 'Three Ways' post I've decided to let you in on my tired eyes tricks.

First up, a good highlighting concealer is key. I love, love, love this one by Maybelline, it really does a great job of concealing dark circles and brightening up my face.

A nude eyeliner is great for eradicating any redness and also brigthening up the eye area.

Finally a bit of highlight in the inner corner of your eye is a sure way to brighten and make your eyes look wider.

What are your eye brightening tips?

Also, my favourite eye creams are the Good Things Eye Brightening Cream, and I love Garnier Roll On eyeball.

Three Ways to Wear: MAC Powersurge Eyeliner

I really enjoyed writing and putting together my last 'three ways' post, which was about Chanel Bronze Universal, so thought I would do another one. This one is all about MAC's eyeliner in Powersurge. If you have read my blog for a while (how presumptuous,) you will know how much Rachel and I love this product so I thought it would be great for this post, giving it some love.

Look One: On the Waterline

This is a cross between a nude colour and a brown, leaning more towards the nude, with a nice bit of shimmer. I love using it with a dark brown smokey eye, as the shimmer makes it still look fancy, but it's not too dark to make my eye look heavy.

Look Two: On the Lashlines

I think this looks really pretty on the lash lines, as it is dark enough to define the eyes, but it also looks really pretty and summery too!

Look Three: As an Eyeshadow

Now I'm going to be honest with you, I hadn't thought of really doing this until I thought of this post, but my goodness, it is now my favourite way to wear it. I apply a thick layer of it, starting at the lash line and finishing half way up my eye, then blend it out with a fluffy eyeshadow/blending brush. I really love the effect it gives

What is your favourite eyeliner? Do you have this?
