Anyway, I've digressed, for today's Fashion Friday the focus is on pencil skirts. I've noticed that they've definitely come back into fashion (not just in the work place) which I am so happy about as I think a good pencil skirt is flattering on anyone. So for today I dug out my simple and old pencil skirt and put together a few ideas.
Work:
Top: Primark
Skirt: George at Asda
Shoes: New Look
Bag: Primark
You could also add a nice blazer in any colour to warm this outfit up but still keep it business like. You can also change the shoes to heels if that is your thing, for me heels are allowed on nights out only as I can't stand achy feet in the day.
Everyday:
Top: New Look
Skirt: George at Asda
Shoes: River Island
Bag: H&M
As you can see this is very much a summery everyday outfit, but for winter you could add some black tights and the flats from above along with a leather Jacket and you're set to go.
Evening out:
Top: Next Clearance
Skirt: George at Asda
Shoes: New Look
Bag: Dorothy Perkins
To add to this outfit I think some chunky accessories would go down a treat.
