Fashion Friday

If you love something, buy it in every colour

I don't try to live by many mantras, but this is something that I am definitely guilty of. After my last shopping trip I realized I had bought things I already had, but just a different colour, so I thought today's post could be around that idea. I also want to apologise for the quality of the pictures, my camera didn't want to play, and I didn't have all day. (Oo I'm  a poet.)

Skater Skirts
New Look // Topshop

For me, there is something about wearing tights that just make me feel feminine. I don't know why, it just does. I'm not really a jeans girl, and I just got stuck wearing leggings all the time. I started by getting this black skirt from Topshop, and then over Christmas I saw my friend in this New Look one, so I just had to snatch it up when I saw it on my last shopping trip.

Both New Look

I always used to wear my black skirt, so picked one up with some colour to it, as I seem to be a slave to black at times.

Both Topshop

These jumpers/tops are soo comfy, and after living in my blue one, I picked it up on white. They are just sooo comfortable.

Topshop

Comfort is a massive factor in the way I dress, and this jumper from Topshop is just that. I love it, soo comfy and cosy and just gorgeous.

Topshop

Rachel bought the green version of this dress on a shopping trip with me, and then on another I bought the reddish one, and then decided I just loved it so much, I had to get it in green too. I am a copy cat, and I don't care.

So are you like me? Or do you think I'm plain silly like my lovely mom does?

Laura xoxo

  1. I'm huge on comfort as well and pretty much live in leggings in the winter! Love the burgundy Topshop jumper - wish that were in my wardrobe ;)

  7. I am definitely guilty of this too, especially when it comes to basics. I'm currently building up a collection of Topshop's basic t-shirts, I just love the fit so much!

  11. I love those two sweaters, Topshop are awesome for winter knits! I think they're V-neck (are they?) which is a downer for me! I have a slimline wardrobe and all my coathangers are mini, so V-necks slip right off! :(
